Kilcooley Women's Centre – Custom Training (Community Development)
Kilcooley Women's Centre wanted tailored training on community leadership and funding awareness. The training provided was so successful that the Kilcooley Tenant Support project and Kilcooley Community Forum also requested it. Training covered games and role play exercises that gave the participants a funders perspective, helped them understand key concepts and produce a draft budget. Certificates were issued to all participants with positive feedback obtained.
Blick Studios help incubate and support small creative businesses. McGarry Consulting are providing training on Cashflow for Businesses and Public Procurement (Tendering) as part of the Evolve Programme – a Business Growth Programme for Creative Industries. McGarry Consulting have also provided numerous talks on mobile applications and games to Councils, Universities, Colleges and Businesses; whilst providing mentoring to a number of creative businesses and training organisations (e.g. WEA).
